Resumo: The construction industry is an important sector with regard to the country's economy. Productivity and quality requires a labor-skilled work in order to develop and implement services with a satisfactory result. Currently the construction perspective has become highly demanding and so created a competition between companies of this branch, which has adopted several strategies to stand out against the competition. The hiring of labor of subcontractors has been an important factor in the search for this difference, since this decision brings several advantages to the construction. The aim of this study is to analyze the difference between the contracted hand labor and outsourced in relation to productivity and service quality requirements in the services provided. For this, there was a case study in Construtora A, where it was concluded that most contracted contractors reached a level lower than expected, with regard to quality of service, as the construction rebuked most of them during verification services. However, with regard to productivity, there was great efficiency from contractors, who obtained a high level of production, as usually took just over half the time spent by the construction company employees to achieve the same services.
