The increasing demand for quality of life and consequently increasing of electricity consume for conditioning air, it is essential to give better attention to the cladding thermal performance. The new edition of the 2013 building performance Brazilian standard brings first minimum recommendations for the thermal performance of the vertical seals. Considering the recent national standard requirements, it is important to the development of scientific research in order to study the heat transfer from physical phenomena as well as the development of practical tools for calculating the thermal performance of buildings and components. This paper presents methods for determining the thermal performance of walls. Finally presents a software where you can combine different wall parts and check their overall thermal performance. |
