The wastes generated by new constructions or repair on those already built and demolitions have significantly increased in the last years and are. Theses construction wastes are responsible for a great part of the total volume of wastes produced in our country, thus, it is necessary to raise the environment care by this sector. The percentage of construction waste Class A, re-usable or recyclable, is approximately 90%, therefore the viability of its beneficiation is environmentally and economically profitable. The present work aims to propose improvements to the recycling factory of construction waste in the city of Cianorte-PR, in accordance with ABNT NBR 15.114:2004. Using surveys and the information provided by managers of the City Hall, it is estimated that the generation of construction waste in Cianorte is equal to 68,8 T/dia and considering this number, there is no need to expand the existing plant, which has operating capacity of 19T / h. However, some adjustments must be made in order, as covering the entire volume of waste with suitable soil, rainwater gallery installation, insulation and signaling the area with hedges, as well as waste receiving control system deployment, to become the location suitable for operating in accordance to the environment. |
