Resumo: Regarding three-dimensional trusses, this work has the main purpose to analyse the elastic linear behavior in these structural elements using the Finite Element Method (FEM). In order to obtain the algebraic equations to solve the proposed problem, the structural system is discretized using linear isoparametric finite elements, with the stiffness matrix explicit along the work. In order to validate the proposed formulation, an educational, free and modular software was developed which includes several options for structural analysis and allows broadly characterize the mechanical behavior of the structures treated here considering the linear mechanical behavior of material. At the end, this work presents four examples of three-dimensional trusses, so that the results obtained by the developed software are analyzed and compared with those provided by other specific software and results given by others researchers.
