In view of this situation, this paper studies the NBR 9050: 2015 standard in order to adapt as APAE Rural de Campo Mourão facilities is not the reference to the accessibility of the institution’s students. This is done through field surveys (photos and measurements) that serve as a basis for the preparation of documents, projects and theoretical conceptions of changes, adaptations and improvements in the institution’s accesses, furniture and equipment, to the APAE board of directors.correct and adjust the points raised in this work. With a performance, APAE Rural de Campo Mourão, with the function of assisting people with disabilities, is the best solution for life, since it will pass its own infrastructure and accessible to students. Percebendo que o número de pessoas com deficiência no Brasil aumenta a cada ano, vê-se necessidade de se adaptar, principalmente, os estabelecimentos existentes, pois os mesmos podem não possuir acessibilidade nas suas estruturas e também deve-se levar em consideração que esse assunto esta intrinsecamente ligado ao direito de ir e vir, o qual não é exercido quando há barreiras arquitetônicas atrapalhando e impedindo algumas pessoas de adentrar, usufruir e acessar determinados locais, serviços e estruturas. Tendo em vista essa situação, este trabalho estuda a norma NBR 9050:2015 afim de adequar as instalações da APAE Rural de Campo Mourão no que se refere a acessibilidade dos alunos da instituição. Isso foi realizado por meio de levantamentos em campo (fotos e medições) que servirão de base para a elaboração de um documento contendo projetos e concepções teóricas de mudanças, adaptações e melhorias nos acessos, mobiliários e equipamentos da instituição, para que a diretoria da APAE possa tomar ações afim de corrigir e adequar os pontos levantados neste trabalho.
