The expansion of buildings in Brazil generates much waste, it is important to evaluate the quantity and propose improvements to an appropriate destination of these waste into environment, so this work aimed to evaluate the construction waste generated in the municipality of Campo Mourão, Parana, proposing appropriate improvements in the process of disposal in accordance with current laws. The evaluation of the waste situation was made by observations "in loco" during the process of transporting the waste in buckets, with individual notes in a questionnaire for each bucket. After collecting the data, graphs were prepared to confront them with the resolutions CONAMA 307/2002 and ABNT standards relating to construction waste. Therefore, we can conclude that the constructive receipt of the waste is in accordance with the law, however it is necessary to re-educate the population because many people are unaware of the laws. The lack of inspection of works by the government aggravates the problems of illegal provisions and therefore the waste of materials at construction sites, causing many environmental and public health problems. |
