Disorderly occupation of areas near rivers have negative consequences for water resources. In this context, the aim of this study was to evaluate the water quality in a Field River stretch, along with one of its springs, located in Fernando Garden, municipality of Campo Mourao - PR, which are low-income families , that they occupied the area for years, and sanitation in the region is precarious, thereby affecting the water quality of the river and east. To check water quality the following parameters were analyzed: total phosphorus, total solids, total and fecal coliforms, turbidity, pH, dissolved oxygen and temperature. The results were compared to the limits established by Resolution CONAMA 357/2005. The area boasts degradation characteristics, but only two parameters were outside the establishing Resolution 357, and the turbidity and dissolved oxygen. The results may have suffered interference from rain, because with this increases the volume of water thus diluting the contaminants substances. This study was realized that this place needs improvement because the degradation of the area has been growing gradually, which affects directly and indirectly the River Course and its source. |
