Resumo: Faced with a scenario of global environmental degradation, scarcity of natural resources, water, energy, coupled with the exponential increase in population, energy efficiency has gained great importance in recent years, mainly due to its association with these various factors. Therefore, the present study discusses the procedures and requirements necessary to evaluate a building at the level corresponding to its efficient design and the use of natural environmental conditions. To perform this analysis, was followed by the technical regulation of RTQ-C efficiency, prepared by Procel in partnership with other agencies of the sector. Which in addition to the goal of creating a technical model for the assessment of building efficiency, aims to spread the theme in order to broaden their concepts and specifications. The building analyzed in this study was the Ministry of Labor in Mourao-PR field. Therefore, it was found that according to the classification requirements of RTQ-C building fits as level A for envelopment, level D to Illumination System, level B for Air Conditioning System, and for General Classification reached the B level rating relative energy efficiency of the building. Further proposals for improvements were presented, which are based on several factors, mainly related environmental issues so as to list your current importance, and expand the options available to improve in a building in relation to its impact on the environment.
