Resumo: A disordered urbanization process can result in a number of impacts, such as environmental degradation, disturbances and insecurities, poor housing conditions, and so on. With the emergence of the concept of sustainable development and its unfolding, in addition to other concepts such as urban sustainability, the idea of sustainable neighborhoods emerges. The concept of sustainable neighborhood emerged in Europe around 1980, where it was founded and established on a benchmark basis to identify the sustainability of an urbanization project. The objective of this paper was to evaluate the sustainability of two neighborhoods in the city of Campo Mourao, State of Parana (Santa Cruz and Gutierrez), through the application of indicators. With this type of evaluation, it becomes possible to develop more efficient and sustainable local urban infrastructure projects, including buildings, transportation, green areas, sanitation and others. As premises for the elaboration of a list of indicators documents such as New Urbanism Charter, New Athens Charter, New Urban Agenda and a United Nations resolution entitled "Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" were used. The selected indicators were: Land Cover, Proximity to Schools, Proximity to Medical Services, Percentage of Households Connected to the Sewage Treatment System, Percentage of Households Connected to the Water Distribution System, Percentage of Households Connected to the Waste Collection System and Selective Collection and Proximity to Bus Stops. An application of indicators to perform data obtained from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, satellite images made available by Bing Aerials and field visits. The Santa Cruz neighborhood presented problems regarding the Sewage Treatment System, while the Gutierrez neighborhood has a large part served. The two neighborhoods have Water Distribution System and Selective Waste Collection. About the public transportation system and the proximity to bus stops, the Santa Cruz neighborhood is effectively served, unlike the Gutierrez neighborhood. The result for the presence of schools and health services is, even more, different between the neighborhoods, Santa Cruz offers access to one school, while at Gutierrez, there is none, and none of the neighborhoods have health services. Thus, it is considered that the Santa Cruz neighborhood presents more indicators with positive results regarding sustainability than the Gutierrez neighborhood.
