Resumo: The work was conducted in a fragment of Semidecidual Seasonal Forest with about 20ha in the municipality of Corumbataí do Sul - PR, under the direct influence of the dominant matrix of the region, which is agriculture. The objectives of the work were performing study altitude gradient effect on the reminiscent of Semidecidual Seasonal Montane Forest in the rural perimeter of Corumbataí do Sul, PR to evidentiate the gradient related to soil, slope and vegetation of the forest fragment. Phytosociology was allocated to 12 continuous sectors of rectangular configuration with dimensions of 30 m X 20 m, totaling 7200 m² of the sampled area. Were expressed individuals living and dead standing with circumference at chest height of ≥15cm. Was performed the opening of three trenches, called by T1, T2 and T3, being used as collection sites and soil sampling, to determine in situ color and horizon. The tree individuals totaled 1.195, wherein the Parapiptadenia rigida was with higher occurrence. The 10th Plot obtained large number of individuals, a factor associated with the average local steepness. Was verified the presence of Litholic Neosol typical eutrophic, with a high amount of gravel, which damages the development of several species. Also noted the presence of Tecoma stans delaying the establishment of native vegetation. Thereby, the field surveys allowed to find that the vegetation structure in question is influenced by anthropogenic activities, by edaphic and topographical factors, causing the forest community has low species diversity and the presence of invasive and exotic species.
