The soil, depending on their characteristics, can be considered as limiting agricultural productivity. The study was conducted in the county of Corumbataí do Sul , Paraná, on the property of Mr. Gerson Rodrigues in a remnant of seasonal semideciduous forest montana and a portion which was recently left to receive agrosilvicultural activity. The soil was characterized for the granulometry, stoniness and nutrients. Was related these characteristics with the agricultural use of the area. In the study, it was possible to classify the soil as Litholic Neosol Eutrophic typical, in other words, soils are shallow, undeveloped, with great presence of gravels, more than 70%. Although the soil is considered fertile, this represents the major limiting to vegetal growth because of depth that does not allow the proper development of plant roots. Other limiting factors for the observed productivity were the amounts of macronutrients and micronutrients found, cation exchange capacity and crops grown in the county. Finally, was held an analogy regarding the factors contributing to the low HDI county by the lack of agricultural technology and lack of knowledge of soil, driving up production costs. In order to assist the small farmer , this study aimed to analyze the macromorfológicas characteristics of the soil in a forest fragment and the adjacent area of a rural property Corumbataí do Sul , PR, relating these features with the regional agriculture. |
