This work aimed to evaluate the environmental perception of residents living around a quarry in the city of Campo Mourão - Paraná. The quarry has been deactivated for at least 32 years and belongs to the city of Campo Mourão. The place is abandoned and in disuse. In order to evaluate the environmental perception of the residents, a questionnaire was elaborated in order to gather some information about the residents' profile, and their perception regarding quarry, education, safety, health and leisure, since environmental education and perception They emerge as tools in the defense of the natural environment and help bring man closer to nature, ensuring a future with a better quality of life for all, as they arouse greater responsibility and respect for individuals in relation to the environment in which they operate. It was found that the population interviewed has only a notion about some environmental issues, but do not know them in full, demanding more attention from the Government. |
