The identification of bird species are used in several important applications, such as preventing bird-plane collision near airports and monitoring the quality of the environment. The identification process involves many tasks including the use of devices to acquire songs and their metadata, feature extraction procedures to obtain relevant characteristics, pattern recognition and decision procedures to make the species identification. The decision procedures can be obtained by machine learning algorithms, considering the problem in a standard classification scenario. This work focus on creating an automatic birds species classification system by locality
using classifiers algorithm. |
