A systematic review (SR) is a research method that aims to gather information about a specific research area. One of the activities of the SR process is the studies selection, which is performed using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The studies are classified as included or excluded during the selection activity. The studies selection when performed by more than one reviewer reduces the possibility of discarding relevant studies. Thus, the existence of tools to facilitate its execution and the collaboration of more than one reviewer is beneficial. The current tools, in spite of giving support for the SR process, they do not focus on data sharing. This study had the aim of developing an application, called Mobile–Revis , to help the studies selection
activity of primary studies in the SR process. For the development of the Mobile–Revis tool an incremental and iterative process was used together with the Java programming language, the Android Studio integrated development environment, the JabRef tool for the creation of the input file and the Derby database. It is expected that the Mobile–Revis tool supports the participation of various reviewers in the studies selection activity and the sharing of data between them, increasing the reliability of the results of this activity. |
