Using the analysis of real data obtained in a partnership with the commercial user studied, the data of the Brazilian tariff system and the solar generation power, it is intended to show the time of financial return necessary for the complete installation of the solar system that will be working in cooperation with a diesel generator. From the data obtained of the capacity of generation for the system and costs, has been developed 3 projections of payback time based on the Brazilian inflation fluctuation for the next 25 years. O estudo realizado neste trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o retorno financeiro na implementação de um sistema fotovoltaico de médio porte em um consumidor comercial. Utilizando dados reais obtidos em parceria com um estabelecimento comercial e com dados tarifários e de geração solar, pretende-se apresentar de forma técnica o tempo de retorno ao investimento financeiro necessário para a instalação completa do sistema, no qual irá funcionar em conjunto com um gerador à diesel.
