Resumo: This review takes an approach to the correlation of two segments of engineering, machining and dynamic through the finite element method analysis. It is composed by an exposure of studies that involves 10 scientific papers containing theoretical and practical experiments on the investigation of the behavior of some processes, materials and methods used for observation of the phenomena occurring during the manufacture of parts. The articles selection was made in order to bring together different elements such as: the study of temperature, chip formation, appearance of cracks and even structural in machinery and tools making it possible to group a good level of information about the related areas, making this work a reference for future works.
