The maintenance sector is see as one of the most propitious areas for implementing improvements in the quality of management and services. In this respect, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) has presented good results. RCM is a methodology for determining rationally what to do to assure that an equipment continues to fulfill its functions in its operational context. This research presents the application of a methodology called Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) in Evaporative Coolers of Federal Technological University of Paraná – Cornelio Procópio. Discusses the maintenance inside the institution and by the systematic implementation of MCC methodology, suggests new maintenance policies with the porpoise of reducing the availability of equipment and maintenance. |
