Resumo: Augmented Reality applications based on fiducial markers require real-time user interaction with virtual elements rendered in the scene. The graphic quality of these virtual objects generated by applications and the fact that some of them run on low computing power devices or via web platforms make requirements as the frame rate an important factor. The frame rate should be maintained at acceptable levels to ensure the quality of interaction and the user satisfaction. The objective of this research is to performance subjective experiments to identify the minimum frame rate for Augmented Reality mobile applications based on fiducial markers to avoid discomfort and difficulty of interaction.
