A growing number of enterprises are adopting Distrubuted Software Development as a way to reduce costs, employ professionals and include large markets. There is a concern that graduate students are prepared to face those challenges. Therefore, the goal of the present study is to analyze the usability of Kanban philosophy, which is largely adopted in other production areas and yet still relatively new in software development to help the DDS scenery. The method, in which groups of undergraduates work on a simulated distributed environment in order to develop a common project, was the experimental one. An initial approach was the description of concepts, tools and methods used. After that, an analysis and presentation of collected data, ending with a larger view of what was observed. |
