Resumo: This paper presents the development process of computerising the equipment care maintenance of the Coolseed Company. The company operates in the industrial sector and produces agricultural equipments for post-harvest grain. In this context, the application of the software brought several improvements to speed up customer service, salespeople and techinicians, starting the post sale service with data and reports of previous services provided to the clients. The development of the software was initiated by the modeling of the system using the UML method, its codification with Java technology and the persistence of data based on the Postgre SQL object-relational database system. The study of the information flow within the company, its modeling and coding contributed to the student learning process and, consequently, led to the construction of the control application. It can be concluded that the development application had very positive results for the student, highly contributing to their professional development and also to the Company , which now manages more efficiently and accurately its maintenance calls of the machines. Furthermore, the use of software was critical to find correlations between maintenance calls and other events such as power failure, heating of the machines, misuse, among others through recording calls and accurate reports on equipment maintenance.
