It was decided to use the Method of Analysis and Troubleshooting (Masp) to investigate the possible causes of this issue, using the Quality Tools (Ishikawa Diagram, Pareto Diagram, Histogram, 5W2H and the Five Whys). After analysis, a new method of collection of fees was implemented and scholarships policy was restructured. In this way, the reduction of the level of bad debt was reached and the work between school and parents about the importance of paying school fees was effective and brought improvements to the institution Este trabalho teve como objetivo realizar uma consultoria na área financeira da instituição Associação de Ensino Nosso Jardim, localizada no bairro Jardim das Américas, na cidade de Curitiba, com o objetivo de diminuir o nível de inadimplência das mensalidades. Para a consultoria, decidiu-se pela utilização do Método de Solução e Análises de Problemas (Masp) para investigar as possíveis causas desta inadimplência, através do uso das Ferramentas da Qualidade (Diagrama de Ishikawa, Diagrama de Pareto, Histograma, 5W2H e os Cinco Porquês). Após análise, um novo método de cobrança das mensalidades via boleto foi implementado e a política de concessão de bolsas foi reestruturada.
