Resumo: Research that seeks the design of an architectural project of a School-Clinic for people who have mental disorders in order to include them in the wider society in several ways. For example: Pedagogical, sporting, professional or artistic. First, it was necessary to know what mental disorders is and how people behave with it. Then, it was essential to understand the conception of inclusion. If it is possible to improve the performance of mental disabled student, it will be crucial to show the main means to include these people in society. The best way to develop these people is through the constant contact with other individuals as full time as part time schools that it is used to be in these special schools. It obtains two main concepts that support this work the individuals with disabilities and their inclusion. It was necessary to understand if the architecture could help integrating these two concepts and find which architectural elements would improve the development of them. At first, the bibliographic study was enough to answer some of the questions, however, a more in-depth research was needed throughout the work, which made important the on-site visits, the interviews in special schools, the questionnaires applied, mapping of public and private special schools in Curitiba and the Metropolitan Region in addiction the regular schools that attend these children as well. In conclusion the architecture is fundamental in the development of these individuals. A place was chosen for the intervention and a needs program was developed. Besides that, an ideal sectorisation was developed in order to project a complete easily accessible school-clinic inclusive for their students.
