The present work has the objective of developing an architectural and landscape project for a amusement park, inserted in a tourism, events and leisure complex proposed in the area where Campo de Marte airport currently operates inSão Paulo. In order to do so, we carried out on-site visits that enabled the application of concepts related to the analysis of the urban context and landscape, aiming at establishing characteristics and obtaining more precise diagnoses with regard to the urban dynamics observed during the process. Conceptual research regarding leisure and fun shows the importance of these activities, bringing them as essential for the health of the population, and can be shown as a powerful instrument of integration and balance capable of reconstituting people's vital energy. The amusement park emerges as a leisure alternative, differentiating itself from the urban parks by being composed of mechanical equipment and simulators of controlled risk that provide sensations and emotions difficult to be experienced in everyday life. The study concluded that Campo de Marte airport became obsolete due to the impossibility of its expansion and could not accommodate current commercial fixed wing aircraft, it was limited to operating small airplanes and helicopters, which makes it an urban space underutilized, configuring an urban void that does not fulfill a social function, thus, it is necessary an urban intervention that requalifies and appropriately appropriates this space, thus enabling the proposal of a complex of leisure and tourism, with cultural equipment, events and entertainment, aiming at social integration, the well-being of the population and the urban development of the city. |
