This undergraduate thesis aims to investigate the “memory” as a social phenomenon. It is studied several experts at the subject. The Museum of Image and Sound of Paraná is taken as object of study, analysing its history through numerous frames in historical newspapers. Once the basic needs of this institution is defined, technical elements are investigated, trying to find important information that would corroborate with an ideal museum project, which captures, recovers and communicates its collections. Then it’s given a basic program, design guidelines, and other orientations that will guide the project. |
