With the verification of a huge lack of accessible space that encourages reading and culture in the city of Andradina - SP, the present study seeks a theoretical framework to develop a project that is suitable for the municipality. The research addresses the importance that the library has in today's society and how it has evolved since its emergence. Some case studies are analyzed, used as reference for the final proposal and together with a research on the local need. In this way, it was possible to generate the project guidelines, which were fulfilled for the development of a building that serves not only the local demand but also the population of the cities of the region. |
