The current study aims to understand the adversities faced by the LGBT + population in Brazil, focusing, later, on the city of Curitiba - PR, in order to propose solutions to these problems through architecture. To do so, it will address issues such as violence and prejudice to which they are subjected throughout their lives, education and the school environment, which are usually part of the initial stage of people's lives, and can be factors that determine their future. It will also explain the professional sphere, especially the issue of the difficulty of access to formal work. Problems of existence and coexistence of this population in the urban / public environment of the city, as well as acceptance by their families. The objective is, after presenting concepts and studies, to find a solution through the architectural design of a LGBT + Support and Reference Center, proposing a receptive and welcoming space for the LGBT+ population. |
