It was sought to counter the residents’ view on the region to the visions of subjects external to it, such as journalists and researchers who live and work in the Pilot Plan. As theoretical and methodological inspiration was taken the American theorist Bill Nichols and the Soviet filmmaker Dziga Vertov; both references in documentary film studies. Following these authors, it was tried to leave the subjects of the documentary at ease during the filming, with few interventions; and the editing work was reserved to make clear the construction of the look and the point of view of the director of this film about Ceilândia. Tendo em vista o contraste social percebido no Distrito Federal entre o Plano Piloto e as demais Regiões administrativas (RA’s), o presente trabalho teve por objetivo produzir um documentário sobre esse tema em Ceilândia, uma das mais antigas RA’s do DF. Buscou-se contrapor a visão dos moradores sobre a RA às visões de sujeitos externos a ela, como por exemplo jornalistas e pesquisadores que moram e trabalham no Plano Piloto. Como inspiração teórica e metodológica se tomou o teórico norte-americano Bill Nichols e o cineasta soviético Dziga Vertov; ambos referências nos estudos do cinema documental.
