The current work discusses the creation of a touristic guide to São Francisco do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The execution draws an applicable model to the market, desireable among the public (tourists), technically viable and financially possible, being accessible to a large number of people. Guided through the information design, the achievement of the project covers the necessary studies to understand how the human being relates himself with the printing and how the designer creates and features texts, icons, data and the photography inside the guide. Considering that in the actual market, these publications has got low concerning with the design itself, and many times having the high production costs due to the lack of knowledge and planning, was sensed the opportunity to bring an adapted material to the local reality of the market in order to promote a different interaction and accessible to the city visitors. To colect the necessary informations before the prototype production, it were used field research, market research and benchmarking, to analise the positive and negative points that substantiated the standard created; target audience to set up the preferences as for formats, materials and presentation; consult to specialized people from design areas to debate subjects as colors, typography, format and structure; besides the cyclical analysis as a methodology used to the set of tasks to verify the efficiency of the developed model. As a result, it was created an adequate prototype with the original issues, contemplating chapters separated through specific packages that can be independently obtained, attendind the needs from the user on each chapter presented on the guide. |
