The present study is a theoretical and interpretive research. Investigates and reflects about the poetic function in graphic design. The bibliographic research starts with the invention of design as a profession in the modernist period, going through the rupture of its ideas by the articulations of post-modernists proposals, systematization of the design functions and concepts of poetic communication. The development of the discussion is conducted in two stages of analysis of design projects of the Brazilian contemporary production, relating the collected concepts for the search of the poetic function materialization. Finally, authorial visual experiments complement the debate by presenting the work contents articulated through the concepts presented. |
