Among the stages of the paper are the design problem analyses, the product development from the identification of a market opportunity, passing by the generation of alternatives to production of models in the laboratory of the Federal Technology University - Paraná and prototypes in the studio of Certa Produtos Cerâmicos. Also were studied the product packaging and brand. The result of work is a gres ceramic utensil for food grilling, with its commercialization package, its brand and instructions guide of the product using that were validated with a potential user. O presente trabalho apresenta uma pesquisa aplicada ao desenvolvimento de projeto de um produto cerâmico para grelhar, introduzindo um novo segmento para a marca Ceraflame, pertencente à empresa Certa Produtos Cerâmicos, localizada na cidade de Rio Negrinho, Santa Catarina. Dentre as etapas do trabalho constam as análises do problema de design, o desenvolvimento do produto desde a identificação da oportunidade de mercado, passando pela geração de alternativas, até a produção de modelos em laboratório da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR) e de protótipos no atelier da Certa Produtos Cerâmicos. Também foram estudadas a embalagem e a marca do produto.
