Topics discussed included the emergence of utensils, being some examples plates, cutlery and glasses. Other themes were also studied during the work, the label created to distinguish the different social classes during the past centuries, the provisions of the home rooms and how it influenced the way of seeing the kitchen at different times, the perception of domestic hygiene as an ally of family health, and deal with the cultural context as kitchen vision in a context of gender, social class and ethnicity. This paper also presents the development of a set of tools to aid in the washing of domestic dishes. For the realization of the project were studies done to know potential users for the product, and identify their main needs. It was also studied how the utensils markets for tableware cleaning works and which innovations there are in the area, showing the gaps for future developments and market gaps. Another point that was taken into consideration in this project is in the feasibility of the prototype for local manufacturing, materials research were done for the selection for the prototype, and possible manufacturing shapes that can be used nationally, without the need to import labor or raw material . The product concept started from the beginning of an organized mess, where you can leave the product in use, not attacking the environment decoration. After selecting material, shapes and concept, Mock-ups were developed of the model for analysis of design and functionality, being made adjustments in Solid Works to develop the prototype. Finally, we presented some of the potential markets that can be pioneered by small businesses to escape the high dollar, as a way to maintain erected during the crisis. O presente trabalho aborda a História da higiene dentro do ambiente doméstico, principalmente na cozinha, mostrando a evolução do pensamento de como conduzir o lar e realizar as atividades de limpeza de louças. Passa por temas como o surgimento de utensílios, pratos, talheres e copos. Outros temas também foram estudados durante o trabalho, as etiquetas criadas para distinguir as diferentes classes sociais durante os séculos passados, as disposições dos cômodos da casa e como isso à influencia na maneira de enxergar a cozinha em diferentes épocas, a percepção da higiene doméstica como aliado da saúde familiar, além de tratar do contexto cultural como visão da cozinha em um contexto de gênero, classe social e etnia. O objetivo geral deste trabalho é o desenvolvimento de um conjunto de utensílios para auxilio na lavagem de louças domésticas. Para a realização do projeto foram feitos estudos conhecendo potenciais usuários para o produto, além de identificar suas necessidades principais. Foi estudado de que forma funciona o mercado de utensílios para higienização de louças e quais as inovações na área, mostrando as brechas para futuros desenvolvimentos e lacunas de mercado. Outro ponto que foi levado em consideração neste projeto, está na viabilização do protótipo para fabricação local, foram realizadas pesquisas dos materiais selecionados para o protótipo, e as formas possíveis de fabricação que possam ser usadas nacionalmente, não necessitando de importação. O conceito do produto partiu do principio de uma bagunça organizada, onde é possível deixar o produto em uso, não agredindo a decoração do ambiente. Após a seleção de material, formas e conceito foram desenvolvidos Mock-ups do modelo para análise de dimensionamento e funcionalidade, sendo realizados os ajustes no Solid Works® para desenvolvimento do protótipo.
