The purpose of this study was to analyze the technical-tactical variables of the complex I in the Sub21 male and female categories with a high level of competitive performance. Eight games of the Paraná Volleyball Cup were analyzed, four of which were female and four male, totaling 1064 service actions, 948 receiving actions and 810 attack actions. The study was classified as quantitative and descriptive/observational The descriptive statistics resources were applied to the variables service, reception, attack and set phases. This study has shown a superior efficacy in the feminine service when compared to the masculine and, compared to the adult category, it was observed that there is a greater effectiveness in the service of the juvenile category. For the reception, there was a greater efficacy in the male juvenile category, showing a better preparation in this category in the male category and, when compared to the adult category, the juvenile also obtained better results in both genders. The efficacy of the attack in the female juvenile category was lower than the male and also the adult female category, but the adult male category was more effective when compared to the male juvenile category. In the set stages, the effectiveness of the female juvenile service proved to be significantly superior to the male service. The effectiveness of the reception and service fundamentals, in the male juvenile category, was superior when compared to the female, in the finals of the set. The study indicates differences in techniques and tactics in both genders, but there are similarities between the juvenile and adult categories. This suggests the need for separate training for men and women starting in the basic categories. |
