The prescription of the level of physical activity in the elderly is determinant for the conservation and control of the effects of aging. The objective of this work was to develop and evaluate the applicability of the Sensonet application to evaluate sittingand raising in the elderly based on the test protocol of Rikli and Jones (1999). Sensonet software controls the Kinect sensor that captures coordinates of the human skeleton and sends data to the computer, making it possible to analyze the sit and lift movement. In order to evaluate the applicability of the application, the sit and stand test was performed in 4 elderly individuals who were evaluated by an evaluator performing the visual counts and simultaneously the Sensonet program carried out the evaluations. The data obtained by the visual evaluator and application were compared. The application obtained the same results as the traditional evaluation. |
