The dance is used in diverse civilizations with the various purposes, can be entertainment, cultural, sports, among others. Yosakoi Soran is a Japanese dance that has strong trends, colorful costumes, flags, among other items, accompanied by music, and is like the means that the dancers present themselves to the public. The purpose of this work is to identify how experiences experienced by viewers during and after a presentation of Yosakoi Soran. We interviewed 11 people who attended the presentation of the Wakaba Yosakoi Soran Group, independent of the city or assisted presentation. A questionnaire containing seven open questions was used as a form of data collection. Data analysis was done with the help of Mendeley software to verify the incidence of words that refer to feelings and emotions, after this survey, the data were analyzed and interpreted through the Theory of Emotion Control, proposed by Norbert Elias and Eric Dunning. As a result, we identified that 55% of viewers actually experienced specific emotions and 100% of respondents were interested in approaching Japanese culture. As a conclusion, we can say that leisure activities such as mimetics, such as sports, dance, theater, cinema, among others, may be able to affect the emotional spectators in the spectators. Such activities can be considered of great importance to the present society, because they simulate the risks and activities of threatening activities, but in a controlled environment. Yosakoi Soran can help balance the day's stresses. |
