Resumo: This work presents evaluation of the integration of GIS (Geographic Information System) and BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology in Highway Feasibility Study, to assist in decision-making concerning the alignment that provides less impact existing buildings in the influence area of highway. We collected field data of location these buildings with historical or cultural characteristics that combined to other Geographic Information System data were integrated into the BIM. Performing simulations of alignment for checking the function of Infraworks corridor generation tool. With the results obtained in the simulations, it was possible to verify conflicts generated by new alignment at the buildings. Analyses of conflicts through the adoption of these new technologies may provide support for the feasibility study at cost reduction in Highways projects.
