Every year, between December and February, thousands of tourists travel to Santa Catarina and Parana coasts, causing great traffic jams at the access to Garuva city, in Santa Catarina. With the purpose of solving this problem, this paper deals with the collection of required data and the study of deployment of an overpass with reinforced earth. This study presents the topographical surveys of the region, traffic studies, study of geometric design and study of the traffic diversion during the construction, forecasts of local signals, as well as materials and cost estimate for the implementation of the work of art in the region. From the basic designs, it can be concluded that the implementation of the overpass is technically feasible, considering the expropriation of the right of way. All the developed projects are located in the Appendices at the end of the paper. |
