In the past, bridge slab design were performed using tables such as Rüsch's, a form that simplifies slabs by considering them as isolated, static, and perfectly connected (fixed or hinged) elements. Along with the evolution of man followed by the evolution of technology, thus design as these could be inserted into programs that work with finite element method and are capable of more superior and efficient analyzes, such as SAP2000. The main objective of this research paper is the comparative analysis between simplified methods and finite element methods (MEF). The analyzes will be made based on the calculations and results of maximum bending moments in the bridge slabs, being considered with relevance the negative moments in the balance and the positive moments for the central slab. Also, another purpose of this research paper is an analysis of the bending moment efforts between the application of automatic variable loads and manual variable loads on the balance slab and the central slab of the bridge. |
