Resumo: This work is the analysis of the structural behavior of a short railway bridge subjected to dynamic loads. The bridge is composed of two "I" section steel beams parallel and Bi supported, subjected to the load of a locomotive, using for this the railway vehicle model and computational routine implemented by Beghetto (2006). The beams that make up the structure were subdivided into twenty Euler-Bernoulli finite element beam and irregularities of the tracks are the excitation source of the dynamic forces, which were treated as a harmonic function. The problem was analyzed for a speed range of railway vehicle 20 to 100km / h. After this, we compared the results found in the dynamic analysis with the values of the static analysis and pseudo-static increased by dynamic impact coefficient of the NBR 7187 (ABNT, 2003). In this comparison, it was found that the values found for the dynamic analysis did not exceed the values of the pseudo-static analysis and static when the vehicle moves over the bridge at speeds resonant condition. This occurs because the mass inertia of the locomotive wheels.
