Resumo: This document aims to demonstrate the necessary procedures for interoperability between TCP/IP and PROFINET Ethernet Network Programmable Logic Controllers using three PLCs from different manufacturers. The first part of the interoperability proposal is based on a PROFINET network consisting of a Siemens SIMATIC S7- 300 CPU PLC 314C as a PROFINET IO controller and a Phoenix Contact AXC 1050 PLC with PROFINET IO device. The second part of the interoperability proposal is designed around an Ethernet TCP/IP network in which the TCP server is configured in the two previously mentioned PLCs, while the Moeller PLC XC-CPU201-XV assumes the TCP/IP client status. To demonstrate the interoperability, the state change in the inputs of each of them is transmitted to the outputs of the other PLCs connected to the network and that share the same physical medium, in this case Cat. 5e Ethernet cables with RJ45 connectors.
