Resumo: This undergraduate final work aims at the use of technology to reduce the numbers of accidents in the transit with automotive vehicles. For this, it was developed a system for reading the actual vehicle position through the Global Positioning System (GPS), the information of localization, speed, date and hour, all stored and treated in a data base MySQL developed in PHP. This Prototype is composed by a receiver of GPS Neo 6M and a plate shield ESP32 with capacity of transmission of the data for Wi-Fi communication constituting an embedded system. The data received from the system are processed by the Google Maps API that it will show the user a Web page for routes consultation. Moreover, it is possible to verify through speed intervals in km/h, determined points where this stipulated speed is reached, enabling the monitoring of this vehicle by means of the access to the Internet through an HTTP page. The obtained results were satisfactory and they demonstrate that the implemented system will be able to serve for applications in in different areas that require informations of geolocalization and speed.
