Resumo: Known the problem that most of water on Earth is not recommended for direct consumption, added to the population growth evidenced from the 50s, justify the preventive studies to scarcity. Included in this subject, this research presents a methodology to approach the reuse of rainwater, greywater and black water highlighting their potential for non-potable reuse applied to a single-family residence. Introduces concepts of treatment and form of reuse of the wastewater, with a focus on low flow rates intended for residence systems. Discusses the financial viability through a hypothetical project, which examines the changes necessary so that there is compatibility qualitative and quantitative between the wastewater tendered and the demands of the reuses. Compare the costs for implementation of systems reuses rainwater, gray and black, through the relationship with the cost of construction of the residence. Brings as a result, the conclusion that the system most suited to a residence is the reuse of rainwater, and its feasibility is discussed by the monthly savings of 9.39 m³ of drinking water, featuring the return period of investment of approximately 37 years.
