This research has as main objective make a literature review on geothermal energy, one of the most powerful forces on our planet, whose use is still almost unknown in Brazil. From the study of the types and uses of geothermal air conditioning, known as GHP (ground-source heat pump), and a characterization of climate, soil type and the geothermal gradient in Curitiba, was possible a research proposal to the city, analyzing the equipment, the materials required and the standards, in order to reduce the use of conventional air conditioners in buildings and reduce expenses with electric energy. |
