Resumo: This present work presents a linear regression model for the average price for used residences in the city of Curitiba from 2000 to 2010 considering macroeconomic variables and others that present any relation with the formation of the price. The variables were collected in several statistics research departments and through the theoretical reference, the software SPSS Statistics was used to generate the models, divided by types of residence. The market behavior in these years of study was discussed, the model applicability, its reliability and the price estimative for the next years based on the final models. It was concluded that the speculation was not the main reason for the recovery of the used property during the last years in Curitiba, being the main reason the unmet demand caused by lack of investments in new homes in the last decade.
