Resumo: The rationalized construction is the key to increase the productivity of the process, speed of execution, quality of the final product and the optimization of the costs. Rationalized construction processes have its work done only once, with minimum rework or waits. Those processes are founded in quality management and elimination of wastes; they aim the balance among cost, timing and quality through standardization and sequencing of assignment. This dissertation aims to identify the potential of rationalization in construction processes through on-site observation and data collection. With a site visitor’s sheet, made by the authors, 16 constructions sites from 5 constructions companies that work in the town of Curitiba were visited, and at the end of this dissertation, are the analyses of these almost 600 thousand square meters visited. It was verified that the different constructions processes have better or worse acceptations, depending on the culture of the company or on the difficulty of implementing new techniques, still not very usual in Curitiba.
