Resumo: The industrial outsourced printed circuit boards production are economically viable for expressive ordering quantities. In the stage of boards layout development and validation, in which few amounts are produced, alternative techniques are typically adopted. Lower cost techniques to achieve this purpose are typically constituted by a series of process that brings slowness to the boards development. A solution in this context is the use of a printer or plotter to draw the circuit connections directly on the board surface. This work presents the development of a plotter designed specifically for this purpose, aiming an affordable price for academic electronics engineers and hobbyists. The achieved result is a plotter capable to draw printed circuit boards layouts with a minimum distance of 0,3 mm between traces with a low cost (about US$ 125,00).
