Resumo: The Project has the intent of correlate the theories of Fantastic literature and the philosophical studies about allegories in Murilo Rubião’s, a Brazilian writer, texts: Introduction to fantastic literature, where he analyses the elements which compose a fantastic text. The Bulgarian bookish concludes that the most important aspect to a narrative be considered fantastic is the “hesitation” between “stranger and wonderful” – real and unreal. However, the prose of Rubião does not fit into Todorov’s study, mainly for his characters do not get astonish before unusual situations involving grotesque, wonderful or extraordinary creatures. This fact shows the complexity of the theme, which took the research to new and different concepts of Fantastic literature. Passing through magical realism, the studies came to a new expression for the Fantastic literature without fear, doubt and hesitation: the Insólito Banalizado. This theory is presented by the searcher Flavio Garcia, in his studies about Murilo Rubião. In the texts where Insólito banalizado appears there are always strongs evidences of allegories behind the plots. For this reason, Walter Benjamin’s study about Baroque and allegories is also in the research, once we believe that Fantastic literature can be an aesthetic way to allegory manifestation.
