Resumo: |
The present study is the result of the perceptions that there could be a fundamental relation between Gilberto Freyre's thesis of racial democracy and Jorge de Lima's Poemas Negros. This suspicion was founded by the very preface of the poetic work that tells us that there is a relationship between both authors, which causes a fundamental dialectical relation between their perceptions of the world. That said, our goal here is to think of these articulations, understanding the position of Jorge de Lima as a poet now outsider, now established. This means to say that his work goes through several moments, and for Bosi (1975), for example, it is best to measure his progress as a poet. In this way, we will work in the light of Norbert Elias (2006), among other authors as soon as the dialogue becomes necessary and plausible. In addition, we will work with the sources of the time of reception of Poemas Negros, thinking about the social and power positions that Jorge de Lima occupied. |
