This work had as objective to compare the theories about autofiction, as well as to differentiate its concept from autobiography and novel of fiction; to draw a historical overview of autofictional theory; and discuss the main hypotheses and ideas about this phenomenon. The methodology used to reach the mentioned objectives was bibliographical, consulting books and articles published by the most renowned scholars in the area, exposing the two main theoretical lines that rule the term and crossing the most pertinent discussions about it. It has come to the conclusion that the autoficion proposes an ambiguous pact to the reader, which contributes to the literary work of the book. |
