Considered the first Brazilian proletarian novel, Parque Industrial was published in the 30s and has as its central theme the struggle between the bourgeoisie and the proletarians, as well as the female labour in the factories of São Paulo. Classical authors who analyze the labour universe were used, like Marx (1975) and Engels (1990). To analyse literature and society universe were used the concepts of Candido (2003), to the political and social context, were used the reflections of Luca (2001) and Iglesias (1988), and as a conception of language, were used the theoretical philosopher Bakhtin (2010). Were concluded that, the issue labour is the driving force of this novel. Among the characters analyzed here are some professions: the Police officer, the immigrant labour in the coffee plantations in São Paulo, workers in textile factories; salesman; members of “lumpenproletariat”, like pimp and prostitute, and even the universe of "no labour", represented by some characters of the bourgeoisie. According to theoretical analysis about these professions, the labour universe in Parque Industrial can be classified as: exploratory; alienated; labour as a meas to exert an ideology; and, finally, the workers´ attempt to fight against, through labour organizations, want to break with the capitalist system and install the communist revolution. Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso propõe como objetivo examinar criticamente a formalização discursiva do universo do trabalho e a problemática política e social presente na obra Parque Industrial, de Patrícia Galvão. Considerado o primeiro romance proletário brasileiro, Parque Industrial, foi publicado na década de 30, e traz como temática central a luta de classes entre burgueses e proletários, com ênfase no universo do trabalho feminino nas fábricas de São Paulo. Como horizonte de referência analítica adotaram-se as reflexões de teóricos e pensadores que problematizam o universo do trabalho, como Marx (1975) e Engels (1990). No que se refere às reflexões entre literatura e sociedade, adotaram-se as concepções de Cândido (2003); quanto ao contexto político-social, buscaram-se as fontes de Luca (2001) e Iglésias (1988), e como concepção de linguagem, adotaram-se os pressupostos teóricos de Bakhtin (2010). Conclui-se que a temática do trabalho é a força motriz desse romance e, dentre as diversas profissões exercidas pelos personagens, estão presentes os seguintes ofícios: o trabalho dos policiais; o trabalho dos imigrantes nos cafezais de São Paulo; o ofício dos operários fabris das indústrias de tecidos e costura; o ofício de caixeiro; personagens em situação de lumpemproletários, exercendo a prostituição e a cafetagem; e até o universo do “não trabalho”, representado por alguns personagens da burguesia. Segundo análise teórica que se empreendeu a respeito dessas funções laborativas, o universo do trabalho em Parque Industrial configura-se como trabalho exploratório; trabalho alienado/estranhado; trabalho como ponte para concretização de ideologia; e o espírito de lutas das personagens militantes que, por meio das organizações sindicais do universo do operariado, intentam romper com sistema capitalista e implantar a revolução comunista. 2020-11-11T18:36:43Z 2020-11-11T18:36:43Z 2012-06-13 bachelorThesis VILELA, Carla Prado Lima Silveira.
