This presente work investigates the book O Livro das Ignorãças (2010), by Manoel de Barros, more specifically its second part, “Os Deslimites da Palavra”. Our aim is to develop an approach focusing on the water as an element, also a regular motif within the works of this brazillian poet, although not yet studied. Hence, the research is based on the work A água e os Sonhos (2002), by the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard. The preliminar results are the development of the relation between the water and the pathway of the character Apuleio and the connection of the water with the sensations, perceptions and some articulated dreams due to his castaway. |
